Wisconsin Girls Wrestling Advisory
Coach Carl is a member of Wisconsin’s Girls Wrestling Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of the Wisconsin Wrestling Association. Our primary goal is to continue growing and improving girls wrestling across the state. We provide resources and support to girls teams throughout Wisconsin and assist both the WWA and WIAA with rule changes and proposals.
Contact Coach Carl if you have questions about your team, girls wrestling in Wisconsin, or if you’d like to be involved in the group.
Wisconsin Wrestling Association
Originally founded as the Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association (WWCA) in 1957, the Wisconsin Wrestling Association has been serving the wrestling community for over six decades. In 2024, they evolved to become the Wisconsin Wrestling Association (WWA) to be more inclusive of wrestling officials, past coaches, administrators, and other wrestling enthusiasts.
The WWA provides resources, hosts an annual convention every November, and works to move Wisconsin Wrestling forward. We encourage every Wisconsin wrestling coach to become a member and attend the convention. Contact the WWA with questions about their organization.
