I’ll be quick! I’ll also send out all the info from the meeting afterward. SafeSport Training (Seniors) I originally planned to have seniors stay after the meeting to complete SafeSport training for USA Wrestling, but because of the World Series, we won’t be doing that. Seniors, please complete it on your own. I’ll re-send the info to seniors and parents. Middle School Middle school starts tomorrow! If you’d like to volunteer at middle school practices, email Coach Eggerichs at eggste@holmen.k12.wi.us. Try Wrestling Event — Monday, Nov. 2 at 5:00 PM I already have some volunteers, but more are welcome! Hola team, Open Mats – Monday & Wednesday We'll have open mats after school on Monday and Wednesday again this week. Monday's open mat will be shorter than usual because I'm driving the volleyball team to their meet. Wednesday will be normal. Upcoming Meetings – October 20 & 26 We have two important meetings coming up: Tuesday, October 20: Girls wrestling meeting during advisory. If you have friends who might be interested in trying wrestling, bring them along! This is a great opportunity for them to learn more about the program and ask questions. I'll have treats, too! Monday, October 26: Parent and wrestler meeting. Code meeting too if needed. New Digital Record Board The new TV is officially up in the hallway by our wrestling room. Hola team, Shout out again to Ruby for competing at Fargo. You keep working hard and improving. Great to coach you out there! Team Wisconsin crushed it as always. We had 14 All-Americans and two champs (Madi Peach and Brooke Huffman). It was awesome to be in the corner for lots of Wisconsin girls and I got to be in Madi's corner for most of the tournament, including the semis and finals. I also get to rub it in to the head officials that I won a protest against them Schedule this week: • Wednesday: Open Mat 6:00 - 7:30pm Fun Opportunity! • We got invited by Coach E and Herky Jerk Ranch to spend a few days there! I will get some dates finalized. • We'll do some wrestling, go tubing down the Wolf River, and make Tik Toks with Nellie and Piper, of course. It will be super fun. • Coach E offered also to go over how they built their following and give Insta/Tik Tok tips for anyone who wants to try to grow their own. • I'll get details out soon and I'm really excited for this!
